A full Moon in Capricorn square to Uranus describes a time where structures, systems, organizations, routines can be seriously disturbed as the air fills with a creeping uneasiness that provokes us to find cures and change the scenery. Life has never seemed to be more complicated then what we see today. The movement of Mercury and Venus into Leo this week, the Sun next week, shifts focus and attention to the personal subjective realm of the individual quest. At the same time the Moon’s movement through the trans-personal signs is pulling us to the connections, duties and responsibilities we have with the rest of the world. Also eluding to complications is a forming opposition between asteroid Ceres and Juno, forming squares to Venus, Mercury and the Sun. We are seeing depicted in this many of the challenges of our era, the complexity of the contemporary relationship and family structure, social traditions and collective belief-systems, all entangled and knotted together like a gigantic chewed up wad of bubblegum. It’s heavy. The weight of it is felt. It loads us like a spring and eventually raw passion trips the wire. It all caves in, pushing us into change and provoking inventive solutions we may not have otherwise realized. In the midst of the quagmire of life we must accept the responsibility of being here if we ever wish to resolve anything. We are finding our inner-strength as Mars picks up pace and plows through Scorpio through the rest of July building the momentum we need to continue onward with tremendous success. It is a thoroughly productive time, and a time to know it, to own it, to not shy away from the world. Own the world. It is your canvas despite what other people do. This weekend’s Venus Mercury conjoinment in Leo is the opportunity to own our purpose and values and share them with one another, to reflect upon our personal calling and celebrate our humanity with a sense of noble duty and compassionate purpose. If we are not on vacation we are not meant to be on vacation. We have a purpose for being where we are in the world. It is time to honor what we truly feel called in our heart to do as the kings and queens, noble knights and spiritual warriors of the era we came here not to see but create by the beauty and might of the divine majesty that we are.
