Taurus and Aquarius are immediately attracted to each other. They have great strength of character, each of them. Taurus is an earth sign, meaning that it searches for stability and security in life. Aquarius is an air sign, which means it seeks some kind of knowledge and expansion and independence.
So therein, already, is a problem between the two, because what will happen is Taurus will try to curb the independence of an Aquarian. An Aquarian won’t stand for that, and so they start drifting apart.
Before this happens, however, they do find in each other a sense of stability, oddly, because they are both considered fixed signs. In astrology fixed means that they are fixed in their opinions, in their passions, in their needs and how they go about life.
They are stubborn, but they’re stubborn in different ways, because Taurus wants to rule the roost, and Aquarius wants to think independently and will become annoyed at anybody who stands in its way toward independence.
So I would say that as a couple, they will find a lot in common. They will enjoy each other’s minds and bodies. Then after a while, they’ll run into so many control issues that they’ll begin to drift apart.
